Monday (Sept. 2), the Bison suffered its first loss of the season at Longwood, 2-0, despite solid play throughout.

Thalia Boucher (Toronto, Canada) and
Victoria Thornton (Plainfield, Ill.) combined for five shot attempts.
Senior goalkeeper
Alayah Hightower (Largo, Md.) had five saves in the loss.
MATCHUP PREVIEW
Entering Friday's showdown, this will be the 10
th straight season both squads have met (13
th time overall). RMU has a 6-5-1 mark against the Bison, but HU won last year's matchup, 3-1, in Moon Township, Pa.

Howard (1-1) looks to get back in the win column after a tough road loss at Longwood, 2-0. HU begins a three-match homestand against Robert Morris with the next two contests against Washington Adventist (Sept. 9) and VMI (Sept. 15). Sophomore forward
Arianna Morgan (Oklahoma City) leads the Bison attack, taking a team-leading six shots, including the match-winner against Mount St. Mary's in the season opener (Aug. 23).

Robert Morris (1-2-1) earned its first win of 2019 with a three-goal second-half rally against Canisius on Labor Day (Sept. 2). Freshman forward Sheridan Reid scored twice in the 3-1 win while senior midfielder Nicolette Casarcia nailed the game-winner from distance, which was her first career RMU goal. Junior keeper Sydney Bruckner stopped five shots in relief of an injured Julia Schmid.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
HU continues its homestand Monday (Sept. 3) when local rival Washington Adventist comes calling. Match time is slated for 3 p.m. inside Greene Stadium.
