IMPORTANT INFORMATION | FOOTBALL GAME DAY NEED TO KNOW FAQ

BAG SEARCHES: Only small personal bags and clear bags of the designated size will be permitted inside Greene Stadium, Burr Gym, and Burr Pool. All bags are subject to search. Prohibited items must be returned to your vehicle or discarded.

CONCESSIONS: Food/drink stands are located throughout the stadium.
 
ELEVATORS: No elevators are available for the public. One (1) elevator is available in the press box tower for media and suite ticket holders.
 
EVACUATION: In the event of an evacuation, please direct your attention to the public address announcement and corresponding video board messages. All exits are clearly marked throughout the stadium.
 
FIELD ACCESS: Only those authorized persons with valid credentials are allowed access to the playing field and sidelines at any time (including pre- and post-game). Violators are subject to ejection from the stadium.

ALCOHOL: Alcoholic beverages are not permitted inside Greene Stadium. Violators will be removed from the stadium.

GAME DATES/TIMES: All game dates and times are subject to change and are based on television coverage. In the event a date or time is to change, information and updates will be released on www.HUBison.com.
 
GATES OPEN: All gates to the stadium open 1.5 hours prior to the scheduled kickoff time for Homecoming. At all other home football games, gates open 1 hour prior to kickoff time
unless otherwise listed.

ADA/HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY: A limited number of seats are available for fans with disabilities. The ADA entrance is at the South Side of Greene Stadium.
 
PARKING: Greene Lot and Burr Lot are reserved to Athletics for Game Day parking. There are other parking lots on campus and side streets off campus that are available for public parking.

Below is the parking fee schedule for various ticket holders:

VIP Season Ticket Holders: VIP Season Ticket holders will enjoy premium parking benefits that provide them with the best parking spots close to the stadium. This exclusive parking area guarantees easy access and convenience. The VIP Season Parking Pass is valid for all on-campus home football games during the 2023 season. VIP Season ticket holders can only purchase one (1) VIP parking pass.

VIP Season Parking Pass: $160 (valid for the entire season-4 home games)

Blue Lots:
  • Childers Lot
  • School of Business
  • Drew (Homecoming only)
  • Mackey (Homecoming only)
Bison Season Ticket Holders: Bison Season Ticket holders will have access to designated parking areas that offer convenient parking near the stadium. These parking options ensure a comfortable game day experience. The Bison Season Parking Pass is valid for all on-campus home football games. Bison Season ticket holders can only purchase one (1) Bison parking pass.

Bison Season Parking Pass: $100 (valid for the entire season-3 home games excluding Homecoming)

Red Lots:
  • Mackey Lot
  • Downing Lot
  • General Parking and Event Rate for Homecoming
General Public: We offer parking options for fans without season tickets for individual game days. These parking areas are strategically located to provide easy access to the stadium. Standard (purchased on game day): $25.

Homecoming: Standard (purchased on game day): $45.

Additional Information:
All parking passes are non-transferable and valid only for the specified ticket holder's use.

Parking passes are non-refundable and are valid only for the specific football game season.

Parking passes must be displayed on the vehicle's dashboard in the designated parking areas.

Prices are subject to change for subsequent seasons. Any changes will be communicated well in advance.

We encourage all fans to purchase parking passes in advance to secure their preferred parking options and take advantage of early bird pricing. Your support and attendance contribute significantly to the game day experience, and we are committed to making your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Please note that parking availability may be limited, so we recommend arriving early to ensure the best parking spot.

RE-ENTRY POLICY: Fans are not allowed to re-enter the stadium once exiting.
 
SOLICITATION: Howard University does not permit unauthorized soliciting or collecting of contributions, vending, distribution of flyers, or other promotional/advertising materials on Howard property. If your business organization is interested, contact the Office of Auxiliary Enterprises.

TAILGATING: Fan tailgating is allowed in the Howard Center Lot on Georgia Avenue for Homecoming only. If fans are interested, contact the Office of Auxiliary Enterprises.
 
TICKET OFFICE/WILL CALL: Visit the Howard Athletics Ticket Office website at www.BisonTickets.com. Howard Athletics is not responsible for, and cannot guarantee, the authenticity of any tickets purchased from someone other than the Howard Athletics Ticket Office. On game day, the Ticket Office/Will Call will be in Burr Gymnasium, located across from Greene Stadium. There is a $10 game day upcharge for tickets purchased at the box office the day of games. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online ahead of time to save time and money.

The Ticket Office/Will Call area will open at 10:30 a.m. on Homecoming and close at the start of the third quarter. During all other home football games, the Ticket Office/Will Call area will open one hour prior to kickoff and close at the start of the third quarter.
 
VENDING: Only vendors who are approved by Auxiliary Enterprises will be allowed to vend on the campus of Howard University on a football game day. All vendors must be licensed and insured and must be verified prior to setup on Howard's campus.
 
WEATHER: For weather updates that may affect games, fans may check the following website: Baltimore/Washington (weather.gov). In case of lightning, we will ask all fans in the stands to evacuate Greene Stadium until the "all clear" sign is given. Event activities will resume once lightning is determined to be outside of the NCAA lightning protocol radius or no lightning strikes within a three-mile radius.
