RICHMOND, Va. (September 13, 2026) — Howard University junior
Nadia Bolden (Charlotte, N.C.) scored in her second straight match, but the Bison were unable to slow down Richmond (UR), 4-1, in Richmond, Va.
At the 29-minute mark, UR (5-0-3) scored back-to-back goals within a three-minute span to take a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
After intermission, Bolden got HU on the board off a penalty kick (57') and pulled Howard within one score, 2-1.
Moments later, Kingsley Hughes extended the Spiders lead with an unassisted goal (60').
With time dwindling, Richmond tallied another score to put the contest out of goal, 4-1.
Both squads took 14 shots apiece with Bolden and graduate forward
Jaidyn Curry (Lorton, Va.) leading HU with three attempts each.

Trinity Knox (Atlanta) played all 90 minutes, registering five saves in the loss.
Morgane Zinn led the Spiders with four total points (two assists & one goal).
