BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (October 22, 2019) – The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) unveiled its women's soccer weekly honors where Howard University saw sophomores
Thalia Boucher (Toronto, Canada) and
Kendall Macauly (Toronto, Canada) claim a pair of accolades. The announcement came Tuesday afternoon.
Boucher earned SWAC Offensive Player of the Week while Macauly took home the league's top defender award.
Boucher netted three goals in the victories over Mississippi Valley State (Oct. 18) and Alcorn State (Oct. 20). On the season, she has seven goals, which is tied for second in the conference.
Macauly anchored Howard's defense in the shutout win over Mississippi Valley State (3-0). She also recorded a pair of assists and a goal in the two-match span.
Texas Southern's Salma Ghazal received SWAC Goalkeeper of the Week.

This weekend, Howard closes out its conference schedule with a pair of matchups in Alabama.
Friday (Oct. 25), HU takes on Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Ala. Match time is set for 4 p.m. (ET)/3 p.m. (CT).
Two days later (Oct. 27), the Bison wrap up league play against Alabama State. The action starts 2 p.m. (ET)/ 1 p.m. (CT) in Montgomery, Ala.
