WASHINGTON, DC --- The men's and women's tennis team suffered defeat from the Norfolk State Spartans on April 1st at the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation.

Paired with a walkover at No.3 doubles, the Bison snatched the first point of the match with a win (6-2) from junior Ismael Kaouache and junior, William Jones III at No.1 doubles.  However, the Bison lost their momentum to the Spartans with a straight sweep in all singles flights.

The Lady Bison, on the other hand, fell to the Spartans (4-1) by ending the match with clench format, not finishing two of the matches after Norfolk State grabbed the fourth and winning point.  Highlights of the match include, senior, Stacey Roheman, cruising to victory in a three-set fight (5-7, 6-2, 6-4).
