WASHINGTON, DC --- Howard senior goalkeeper
Kyra Dickinson has been named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Dickinson, a native of Brampton, Ontario, helped Howard (3-7-1) wins its last three contests and win its first two games as members of the SWAC by logging 14 saves and one shutout while playing all 270 minutes. For the week, Dickinson allowed a pair of
goals (0.67 GAA) and posted a .875 save percentange.Dickinson currently sits 19
th nationally in total saves. She is the third player to earn SWAC weekly honors for Howard in their inaugural season in the conference, joining
Nia Walcott and
Treschelle Gibson-Serrette.
