BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (November 5, 2025) – The NEC uncovered its women's soccer postseason honors and major awards where Howard University saw four Bison recognized for their incredible performances during the 2025 regular season. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
 
Second-year Bison Gabriella Garcia-Terrell (Centreville, Va.) made the All-NEC First Team for the second straight year after leading HU in scoring (13 points). The 2024 NEC Rookie of the Year produced six goals for Howard.
 
Graduate defender Rachel Suttle (Smyrna, Ga.), senior defender Bre'Elle Dean (North Ogden, Utah) and junior midfielder Samantha James (Herndon, Va.) each received All-NEC Second Team. A year ago, Suttle and James were selected NEC Defensive Player of the Year and Midfielder of the Year, respectively, while Dean secured a spot on the 2022 All-Rookie Team.
 
Central Connecticut State's Emma Radoncic won NEC Defensive Player of the Year while fellow Blue Devils' Melina Ford and Gabrielle Smith took home Goalkeeper of the Year and Rookie of the Year, respectively.
 
FDU's Laura Martinez claimed NEC Midfielder of the Year while the Knights'Eric Teepe grabbed Coach of the Year.
 
Stonehill's Hanna Anselmo was named NEC Offensive Player of the Year.
 
Thursday (Nov. 6), HU goes to Staten Island, N.Y., to face Wagner in the NEC Semifinal Round. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
