WASHINGTON (April 22, 2026) - Howard University women's tennis team returns to Cary,
N.C., for the 2026 MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Championships. The three-day (April 23-25) takes place at the Cary Tennis Park.

On April 18, HU fell in its regular season finale at Johns Hopkins, 7-0.
Despite the setback,
Selah Stibbins (Minneapolis) and
Camille Hall (Bowie, Md.) notched a win in their doubles match.
TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
Women's quarterfinal matches for the Championship begin Thursday (April 23). Howard meets reigning MEAC Champion No. 6 South Carolina State (SCSU) at 11 a.m.
In the last matchup (March 30), HU won, 5-2. Howard swept all three doubles matches and took four-out-of-six in singles play.
The Bison enter the weekend fourth in team standings, surpassing SCSU, Delaware State and Coppin State.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Winner faces MEAC Regular Season Champion and No. 2 seed Norfolk State in the semifinal round Friday (April 23) at 9 a.m.
