WASHINGTON (April 17, 2026) - Howard University women's tennis team faces Johns Hopkins in its regular season finale Saturday (April 18) in Baltimore. Match time is slated for 4 p.m.
The last time the teams met was in 2023, which resulted in a 5-2 victory for Howard.
LAST TIMEOUT
On April 13, the team competed against Morgan State at the Southeast Tennis & Learning Center (STLC) in D.C., they fell, 5-2, but clinched one doubles win and two individual wins.

Selah Stibbins (Minneapolis) and freshman
Franchesca Brown (Atlanta) won their respective singles matches.
Fellow freshman
Camille Hall (Bowie, Md.), alongside junior
Imani Jean (Brooklyn, N.Y.), won their doubles match against Morgan State's Lauren Hall and Marta Serra-Carles.

This match could boost Howard's momentum going into next week's MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Tournament (April 23-25).

The Blue Jays are coming into the match after a tough road loss at No. 11 Emory, 4-3.
Sahana Madala holds a 7-1 record in singles competition, competing primarily in the No. 5 position. Currently, she is on a five-match win streak.

The MEAC Championships start Thursday (April 23) in Cary, N.C., and competition concludes Saturday (April 25). The Bison will match up against the South Carolina State Bulldogs for their first match Thursday (April 23) at 11 a.m.
