WASHINGTON (April 10, 2026) - Howard University women's tennis team returns to Fluegel-Moore Tennis Stadium in Annapolis, Md., facing Navy at 11 a.m., Saturday (April 11).

MATCHUP PREVIEW
 
HOWARD
 
HU is looking to snap a nine-season losing streak to Navy. In the last meet (April 18, 2025), Howard lost, 0-7; however, the Bison have great momentum coming into the match with a three-match win streak.
 
Freshmen Franchesca Brown (Atlanta) and Chloe Goins (Burr Ridge, Ill.) have led the charge, each riding a three-match win streak in singles play.
 
NAVY
 
Navy (18-5) is looking to close out the regular season on a high note before the conference tourney. This season, the Mids hold a 16-1 mark at home.
 
Emma Gu serves primarily in the No. 1 singles slot, posting an 8-4 record in the position.
 
LAST TIMEOUT
 
On April 8, the team competed against Coppin State in Baltimore where they won, 7-0. Howard won all singles and doubles matches against the Eagles.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
 
The Senior Day match is quickly approaching for the Bison, taking place Monday (April 13) at Banneker Recreation Center in D.C. First-serve at 2:30 p.m.
