BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (March 18, 2026) – The NEC revealed its women's golf weekly awards where Howard University sophomore standout
Lena Durette (Scottsdale, Ariz.) won the league's Golfer of the Week. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
At the ASU (Alabama State) Spring Classic, Durette won the individual medal after finishing three-over par across three rounds of action. The Arizona native led HU to victory, winning the tourney by 67 strokes.
Seniors
Marley Franklin (Los Angeles) and
Morgan Horrell (Dallas) joined Durette on the NEC Prime Performers list.
On March 22-24, HU goes to Raleigh, N.C., for the City of Oaks Collegiate, hosted by North Carolina State.
