BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (February 6, 2026) – The NEC revealed its men's golf preseason poll where Howard University was projected to finish second overall after receiving three first-place votes. The announcement came Friday afternoon.

Sam Puryear and the Bison are looking to three-peat and return back to the NCAA Tournament.
This year's squad is led by All-NEC selection junior
Mathis Perroni (Metz, France).
LIU is picked to win the 2026 NEC Championship after earning eight first-place votes. FDU sits in third behind the Bison with one first-place vote.
On March 2-3, HU goes to the Lone Star State for the Colin Montgomerie Invitational, hosted by Houston Christian.
