ATHENS, Ga. (May 19, 2026) – Howard University junior
Bear Huff (Riverside, Calif.) paced the Bison Tuesday during Day Two of the NCAA Regional Round, hosted at the University of Georgia Golf Course (par-71, 7,258 yards).
Huff carded a 2-over par (73) in the second round, highlighted by steady play across the back nine to sit tied for 52
nd overall.
Junior
Francisco Perez (Los Mochis, Mexico) turned in a strong round for Howard, firing a 2-over par (73) with multiple key birdies to move into a tie for 71
st.
Sophomore
Michael Perusse (Pearland, Texas) posted a 7-over par (78) while junior
Marlon Jones (Los Angeles) finished with a 3-over par (74). Junior
Mathis Perroni (Metz, France) rounded out Howard's lineup with a 6-over par (77).
Collectively, Howard shot 13-over par (297) during Tuesday's round and remains 13
th in the team standings entering the final day of competition.
Vanderbilt leads the field at 15-under par, followed by Louisville (-9), Auburn (-7) and Georgia (-7). BYU rounds out the top five at 5-under par.
NCAA Regional Round concludes Wednesday (May 20) with a shotgun tee time of 9:50 a.m.
