BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (September 30, 2025) – The NEC revealed its women's soccer weekly honors where Howard University sophomore forward
Gabriella Garcia-Terrell (Centreville, Va.) was selected Co-Player of the Week. The announcement came Monday afternoon (Sept. 29).
Garcia-Terrell won her second NEC Player of the Week award this season after recording a pair of goals in the road victory at Mercyhurst Sunday (Sept. 28). Entering the week, she ranks third in the league with 12 points.
Third-year goalie
Trinity Knox (Atlanta), along with Garcia-Terrell, was named to the NEC Prime Performers list.
FDU's Ana Salas shared the NEC Co-Player of the Week honor with Garcia-Terrell. Central Connecticut State's Melina Ford took home Defensive Player of the Week while Saint Francis' Riley Kerr claimed the league's Rookie of the Week.
The Bison are back on the pitch Sunday, Oct. 5, at 3 p.m., when they host Delaware State in their Breast Cancer Awareness game.
