BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (August 24, 2026) – The NEC unveiled its women's soccer weekly honors where Howard University senior goalie
Trinity Knox (Atlanta) claimed the league's Co-Defensive Player of the Week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
In the matchups against George Washington (GW) and Hampton (Aug. 22), Fort Knox produced 17 saves with a .944 save percentage. In the draw versus GW (Aug. 19), the Atlanta product recorded a nine-save shutout.
Knox was also named to the NEC Prime Performers.
FDU's Rosemarie Leblanc shared the weekly honor with Knox.
CCSU's Rebecca Devereux and Ellie Westcott won NEC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively.
The Bison return to action Thursday, Aug. 27, at 5 p.m., for their first true road match of the season when they travel to face Florida Atlantic. The matchup will mark the first meeting between Howard and the Owls.
