SEASON OUTLOOK
HU is seeking its second conference title in three years after falling in double OT a year ago against Wagner College, 3-2, in the NEC Semifinals.
Howard is coming off a 9-7-3 season (7-2-2 NEC), losing some key veterans. But Bison head coach
Brent Leiba is encouraged by the return of senior tri-captains

Asia Mickens-Perez (Upper Marlboro, Md.) and
Trinity Knox (Atlanta).

Entering the season, HU was projected to finish fourth in the NEC.
Sophomore forward
Demi Owens (Teaneck, N.J.) returns to The Mecca as the squad's top scorer with nine points (four goals & one assist).
Knox, aka "Fort Knox", is arguably the best goalie in school history. Coming into her senior season, she is the school record holder in several categories. Knox has recorded 235 saves, been a part of 24 victories and posted 14 shutouts in three seasons. She has been the NEC Rookie of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year during her productive career in a Bison uniform.
Leiba is entering his 18
th season and has brought the program to national prominence during his tenure. He is the winningest coach in school history, nearing 150 victories and a future Hall of Famer.
GEORGE WASHINGTON
GW (1-1) rolls into Wednesday's showdown after a tough 3-2 loss at Delaware Saturday (Aug. 15). George Washington opened the season with a 4-0 victory over Temple (Aug. 12).
Kalia Kau leads the Revolutionaries with two goals, followed by Naomi Kim (one goal & one assist).
In the cage, Jasmine Black has racked up eight saves with a 73-percent save percentage over two contests.
George Washington was projected to finish 13
th in the Atlantic-10.
