NORFOLK, Va. (May 7, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its softball all-academic team where Howard University saw 14 Bison recognized for their success off the field. The announcement came Monday (May 5).
MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, along with transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.

Mia Gonzales (Atwater, Calif.),
Kenna Higa (Honolulu),
Julia Holt (Tucson, Ariz.),
Maryn Jordan (San Diego),
Jordin King (Pomona, Calif.),
Payton Quinonez (Tulare, Calif.),
Lealani Ricks (Madera, Calif.),
Morgan Thornton (Manassas, Va.),
Tori Trotter (Lacey, Wash.) and
Alyssa Vasquez (Eastvale, Calif.).
Howard and Norfolk State tied with the most student-athletes receiving all-academic honors (14).
The MEAC honored 84 student-athletes from the conference's eight institutions who achieved academic success during the academic year.
Howard (28-18, 20-1 MEAC) heads to Norfolk, Va., for the MEAC Tournament, taking place May 7-10. The Bison open play Wednesday, May 7 at 8 p.m.
