NORFOLK, Va. (April 23, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its men's and women's track & field weekly awards where Howard University saw graduate thrower
Erin Hatcher (Silver Spring, Md.) claim the league's Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. The announcement came Wednesday.
At the Tom Jones Invite (April 18-19), Hatcher won the hammer throw with a new conference record of 62.41 meters, which ranks 35
th in the nation.

Kyle Fisher (Duluth, Ga.) and junior
Aniya Woodruff each received honorable mention for their efforts in Gainesville, Fla.
South Carolina State senior Angelica Frederick and Coppin State senior Halutie Hor were named MEAC Women's Co-Track Athletes of the Week.
For the men, Norfolk State senior Kendrick Winfield was selected MEAC Track Athlete of the Week while South Carolina State junior Michael Hopkins took home Field Athlete of the Week.
HU continues the outdoor season journey back up north to the prestigious Penn Relays, hosted by the Quakers (April 24-27).
