NORFOLK, Va. (March 21, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its women's bowling all-academic team where Howard University saw five Bison recognized for their academic excellence. The announcement came Friday.
MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), along with transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for all-academic accolades.
This year's recipients include
Sydney Allison (Ypsilanti, Mich.),
Simone Ashford (Chicago),
Ryleigh Ferguson (Stafford, Va.),
Jewel Johnson (Harrisburg, Pa.) and
Cameren Sullivan (Chicago).
Collectively, the MEAC honored 39 student-athletes from the league's eight bowling-playing institutions who achieved academic excellence.
On March 21-23, Howard goes to Raleigh, N.C., for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship.
