GREENWOOD, Ind. (June 17, 2025) – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Committee uncovered its 2024-25 NCAA Men's & Women's At-Large All-District Team where Howard University saw eight Bison recognized for their hard work inside the classroom. The announcement came Tuesday.
On the men's side, NEC (Northeast Conference) Champions
Mathis Perroni (Metz, France) and
Mitchell Grey (Mississauga, Canada) were acknowledged for their efforts off the green.
Perroni earned All-NEC Second Team after competing in 12 tournaments during the 2024-25 campaign. Academically, the Frenchman is studying economics with a 3.74 grade point average (GPA).
Grey won back-to-back NEC Titles while guiding HU to its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Canadian holds a 3.56 GPA in finance.
For the women, all-conference selections
Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.),
Marley Franklin (Los Angeles),
Morgan Horrell (Dallas),
Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas),
Cameren Sullivan (Chicago) and
Sawyer Walker (Magnolia, Del.) led the way in their respective sports.
Fieldings became the first Bison in program history to win the NEC Women's Golf Player of the Year award. Off the green, she majors in media, journalism & film (MJF) with a 3.7 GPA.
Franklin made the All-NEC First Team after registering three top 10 finishes with a 75.4 strokes per round average. The Los Angeles native is also a MJF major, holding a 3.5 GPA.
Horrell earned a spot on the All-NEC Second Team. The Dallas product has accumulated an impressive 3.97 GPA, studying marketing.
Jackson secured All-NEC First Team honors after five top 10 finishes, including second place twice. She holds a 3.58 GPA in leisure studies.
In 177 frames bowled, Sullivan registered a 41-percent strike percentage. Academically, she has accumulated 3.57 GPA, majoring in nursing.
Walker earned All-NEC Second Team in lacrosse, ranking among the country leaders in multiple categories. In the classroom, she holds a 3.67 GPA while studying international studies.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's & Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
