TOWSON, Md. (November 9, 2025) – Howard University women's bowling team grabbed its biggest win of the season so far, topping No. 18 UAB at the MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Meet No. 1, hosted by Morgan State University (MSU) in Towson, Md.
HU knocked off the Blazers with a 946-821 victory in Baker play. Howard also defeated MSU, 834-716, on Day One (Nov. 8). The squad went 2-2 on the day after close losses to No. 23 Delaware State, 895-848, and Coppin State (CSU), 832-823.
The next day (Nov. 9), Howard cruised past Norfolk State (NSU), 792-595, before falling to nationally ranked No. 16 Maryland Eastern Shore, 860-771, and defending MEAC Champion No. 7 North Carolina A&T State, 983-868.
Over the weekend, HU went 3-4 in Baker matches.
On Feb. 21-22, NSU will host the MEAC Meet No. 2 in Norfolk, Va., which will consist of all traditional matches.
HU continues its campaign at the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational (Nov. 15-16), hosted by Coppin State.
