NORFOLK, Va. (September 24, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its women's bowling preseason team where Howard University senior
Cameren Sullivan (Chicago) made the cut. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
A year ago, Sullivan registered a 41-percent strike percentage in 177 frames during the regular season. In 44 traditional matches, the two-time All-MEAC selection recorded 8,186 total pinfalls with a 186.0 average. At the Northeast Classic, she rolled a season-high 258.
Joining Sullivan on the preseason team included UAB's (University of Alabama Birmingham) Madison Colston and Madelynn Oliva, Maryland Eastern Shore's (UMES) Mariana Santos Rivero and North Carolina A&T State's (NCAT) Jasmine Hall and MEAC Preseason Player of the Year Victorya White.
Additionally, the league unveiled its preseason poll where HU was projected to finish sixth place after tallying 41 points.
NCAT won picked to win the MEAC Title, scoring 110 points (12 first-place votes). UMES was selected second with 101 points (one first-place vote), followed by Delaware State (83 points), UAB (78 points, two first-place votes) and Morgan State 64 points). Coppin State and Norfolk State rounded out the field at 34 points and 23 points, respectively.
The preseason team and predicted order of finish were determined by a vote of the conference's bowling head coaches and sports information directors.
HU opens the season at the Virginia Union Invite (Oct. 31-Nov. 2), hosted by the Panthers.
