BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (February 10, 2025) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) revealed its women's lacrosse weekly accolades where Howard University freshman midfielder
Leah Croom (Miami) was selected the league's Rookie of the Week. The announcement came Monday.
In her collegiate debut versus crosstown rival George Washington (Feb. 7), Croom recorded two goals, two ground balls and a draw control against the Revolutionaries.

Sawyer Walker (Magnolia, Del.) was named to the NEC Prime Performers list. Walker racked up 10 draw controls, eight ground balls and a pair of goals versus George Washington.
LIU's Julia Trainor claimed NEC Player of the Week while fellow Shark Mylie Norton took home the conference's Defensive Player of the Week.
The Bison return to action Tuesday (Feb. 11) at 1 p.m., when they travel across town to face the American Eagles.
