BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (June 17, 2025) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) uncovered its 2025 Spring Academic Honors where Howard University saw 36 Bison across three programs (men's & women's golf and women's lacrosse) recognized for their academic excellence. The announcement came Tuesday.
All 36 Bison made the NEC Academic Honor Roll after earning a 3.2 grade point average (GPA) during the 2025 spring campaign.

Additionally, 15 Bison were named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll after producing a 3.75 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year: Collins; Croom; Garcia; Green; Harris; Hinds; Horrell; Kuranga; London; Nelson; Ramey; Richardson; Vasquez; Vitti and J. Williams.
Collectively, the conference recognized over 1,400 student-athletes with more than 500 making the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
During the 2024-25 academic year, 3,397 NEC student-athletes earned recognition on the Academic Honor Roll, comprising more than two-thirds of all NEC competitors. Additionally, there were 1,273 student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, the fourth-highest tally on record.
