BETHLEHEM, Pa. (November 13, 2025) – Howard University men's & women's cross country teams will take part in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals Championships Friday (Nov. 14), hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
The championship races will take place at Goodman Campus XC Course, starting with the Women's 6K race at noon, followed by the Men's 10K race at 1 p.m.

CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW
WOMEN
Last year, the women finished in 24
th place. Alumna
Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.) finished in the top half with a 21:44.80 time.
During her rookie season, sophomore
Mira Martin (Columbus, Ohio) followed behind, crossing the finish line at 22:10.80.
MEN
The men's team finished in 27
th place. In his first season as a Bison, sophomore
William Shepherd (Plano, Texas) led the pack, clocking in at 32:56.60.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Nov. 1, both squads competed at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships in Cary, N.C.
The women brought home the 2025 title, finishing in first place overall with five Bison placing in the top 15. Freshman standout
Alexis Jones (New Windsor, N.Y.) was named MEAC Outstanding Performer after winning the event with a 17:49.10 mark.
On the men's side, they finished in sixth place. First-year
Sayid Shakur (Fort Washington, Md.) led the pack, clocking in at 25:49.10.
