NORFOLK, Va. (October 30, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its cross country all-academic team where Howard University saw nine Bison acknowledged for their success inside the classroom. The announcement came Thursday morning.
To be eligible, MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at their respective institutions for at least one year are also eligible for selection.
This year's honorees include
Chandainey Boyce (Pawtucket, R.I.),
Kobe Hutson (Bridgetown, Barbados),
Mira Martin (Columbus, Ohio),
Tiffany Mugubi (Houston),
Adams Odhiambo (Melissa, Texas),
Chloe Poindexter (State College, Pa.),
Kendall Robinson (Bowie, Md.),
Sarah Seam (Gaithersburg, Md.) and
Orlaan Winston (Kent, Wash.).
Collectively, the league recognized 72 student-athletes from its elite eight member institutions during the 2025-26 academic year.
On Nov. 1, the Bison will compete at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships in Cary, N.C. The race starts at noon.
