WASHINGTON (October 23, 2025) – Howard University men's golf team travels to Monterrey, Mexico to participate in their last tournament of the fall season: The Monterrey International Invitational (Oct 24-25), hosted by George Washington University.

HISTORY
In 2023, George Washington hosted the inaugural Monterrey Collegiate Classic with Howard finishing seventh overall.
Alongside Howard and George Washington, this year's participants include Davidson, George Mason, Loyola (Md.), North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Richmond, Seattle, Utah State, UTRGV and VCU.
TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
Club Campestre Monterrey is a private club, located in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, Mexico and widely known for hosting high-level golf tournaments. This 27-hole course measures 7,141 yards and has a slope of 72.
LAST TIMEOUT
During the Georgetown Intercollegiate (Oct. 13-14), the Bison tied for seventh place.
Collectively, shooting 39-over par (607) with three Bison finishing in the top 30. Junior
Marlon Jones led the charge with a 7-over par (149) performance, tying for eighth place on the player leaderboard.
