WESTFIELD, N.J. (October 14, 2025) – Howard University men's golf team tied for seventh place at the Georgetown Intercollegiate, hosted by the Hoyas. The two-day tournament was held at the at Echo Lake Country Club (par-71, 6,950 yards) in Westfield, N.J.
Collectively, the Bison shot 39-over par (607) with three Bison finishing in the top 30.
Junior
Marlon Jones led the charge with a 7-over par (149) performance, tying for eighth place on the player leaderboard.
Fellow classmates
Bear Huff (Riverside, Calif.) and
Tariro November rounded out the top 30, tying for 17
th (151, +9) and 29
th (153, +11), respectively.
Georgetown won the event (589, +21), followed by Harvard (597, +29) and William & Mary (598, +30).
Individually, the Hoyas' Barnes Blake and Harvard's Reese Jensen shared the title after shooting 1-over par (143) in 36 holes of action.
The Bison are taking a trip to Monterrey, Mexico to compete in the Monterrey International Invitational (Oct. 24-25).
