WASHINGTON (January 25, 2026) – Howard University men's golf team returns from the winter break, traveling to Tucson, Ariz., for the annual N.I.T., hosted by the Arizona Wildcats. The two-day (Jan. 26-27), 54-hole event takes place at Omni Tucson National.

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
Arizona hosts the 23
rd edition of the N.I.T., taking place at Omni Tucson National.
The Wildcats host a field of 13-teams: Howard; No. 30 Arizona; No. 27 BYU; Cal; Fresno State; Grand Canyon; Iowa State; No. 17 New Mexico; Saint Mary's; Santa Clara; No. 5 Texas; UTEP and Wyoming.
All 13 teams will look to play 36 holes Monday (Jan. 26) with the final round being played Tuesday (Jan. 27).
LAST TIMEOUT
On Oct. 24-25, HU concluded its fall schedule at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic, hosted by George Washington University, where they grabbed sixth overall.
Newcomer
Ander Martinez (Alvarado, Mexico) led the way, firing 5-under par (211) while tying for 10
th place.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On March 2-3, HU goes to the Lone Star State for the Colin Montgomerie Invitational, hosted by Houston Christian.
