ANNAPOLIS, Md. (September 22, 2024) – Howard University men's golf team competed at The Goat, hosted by Navy, where they took 14
th place. The two-day event was held at the Naval Academy Golf Club (par-71, 7,025 yards) in Annapolis, Md.
Overall, the Bison shot 52-over par (904) with their best round coming in on Day One (299, +15).
Second-year Bison
Mitchell Grey (Mississauga, Canada) led the charge, firing 6-over par (222) in 54 holes of action, including an even-par performance in round three.
Pacific won the event, recording 1-under par (851). Loyola (Md.) finished runner-up (860, +8).
Loyola's Gustavo Rangel won the individual medal after shooting 3-under par (210), defeating Navy's Jack Tarzy by one stroke (211, -2).
On Oct. 7-8, Howard goes East Hampton, N.Y., for the Hamptons Intercollegiate, hosted by Loyola (Md.).
