SMYRNA, Del. (September 13, 2024) – Howard University senior standout Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.) won the 2024 Delaware State University (DSU) Invite, hosted by the Lady Hornets, in Smyrna, Del.
 
Crosby claimed the individual crown with an 18:21.10 mark. Overall, the Bison finished runner-up with three top 10 finishes, including the Louisiana native.
 
Newcomer Mira Martin (Columbus, Ohio) earned third place (18.573.30), while senior Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C.) rounded out top five at 19:14.00.
 
Other noteworthy performances included freshman Chloe Poindexter (State College, Pa.) taking 11^th place (19:50.10). Fellow classmates Chandainey Boyce (Pawtucket, R.I.) and Kendall Robinson (Bowie, Md.) claimed 13^th (20:08.90) and 14^th (20:20.00), respectively.
 
Towson won the 2024 DSU Invite team title.
 
On Sept. 28, HU goes to Bethlehem, Pa., for the annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh.
