PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (August 26, 2024) – Former Howard University standout
Gregory Odom Jr., kept his momentum going in the AGPA Tour, winning the 2024 Cisco Invitational Title with a come-from-behind victory in the final round. The three-round event (Aug. 24-26) took place at the prestigious Pebble Beach Golf Resort in Pebble Beach, Calif., held on the SKYglass Hill Course (par-72, 7,026 yards).
Odom shot 8-under par (208) in the 54-hole tourney with 16 birdies. In the 20-player field, he stayed in striking distance during the first two rounds, then fired a 69 (-3) in the final round to secure the championship.
With the victory, Odom took home the purse of $50,000. In his last two tournament wins, the Memphis native has collected $105,000.
Kevin Hall placed second overall, shooting 6-under par (210) while collecting a purse of $25,000.
During the 2023-24 collegiate season, Odom ranked among the top golfers, based on their World Amateur Golf Ranking Points Average. He finished second in the APGA Collegiate Ranking.
In his final season, Odom earned All-NEC First Team honors while leading the program to its first Northeast Conference (NEC) title and berth to the NCAA Tournament.
