PRINCETON, N.J. (APRIL 5, 2024) -The upcoming 36^th annual Princeton Invitational, scheduled to take place in Princeton, N.J., at the Springdale Golf Club, serves as the final tune-up for the Howard University men's golf team prior to the championship season.

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
 
Starting Saturday, April 6, and continuing through Sunday, April 7, the tournament will consist of three rounds (54 holes). The course measures 6,444 yards with a par 71.
 
The Springdale tournament has 13 total teams: Howard; Princeton; Columbia; Cornell; Dartmouth; Georgetown; Harvard; Penn; Rider; Saint Joseph's; Seton Hall; Temple and Yale.
 
Graduate Gregory Odom Jr. (Memphis, Tenn.), reigning Northeast Conference (NEC) Golfer of the Week, leads the Bison with 72.3 stroke average per round.
 
Fellow classmates C.M. Mixon (Bowling Green, Ky.) and Everett Whiten Jr. (Chesapeake, Va.) follow Odom with averages of 72.4 and 72.9, respectively.
 
LAST TIMEOUT
 
At Stanford University's The Goodwin, Odom and Mixon shot 10-over par (220) in three rounds. The two Bison players tied for 92^nd place overall.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
 
On April 26-28, Howard goes to Pine Mountain, Ga., for the NEC Championships, held at Callaway Resorts & Gardens.
