SMYRNA, Del. (November 2, 2024) – Howard University senior
Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.) won the 2024 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Cross Country Individual title at the league championships with a record-setting performance.
The Louisiana native posted a 17:15.10 time while being named MEAC Outstanding Performer.
Teammates
Mira Martin (Columbus, Ohio),
Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C.) and
Chloe Poindexter (State College, Pa.) placed fourth (18:12.20), seventh (18:34.70) and 10
th (18:51.00), respectively.
All four Bison were named to the All-MEAC Team after placing in the top 15.
Overall, the Bison finished runner-up behind Norfolk State (NSU). Kenneth Giles was named the meet's Women's Outstanding Coach for leading the club to its second straight crown (fifth overall).
Freshman
Kendall Robinson (Bowie, Md.) and second-year Bison
Sarah Seam (Gaithersburg, Md.) rounded out the top 25, earning 17
th (19:25.00) and 23
rd (19:58.20), respectively.
