WASHINGTON (October 18, 2024) – Howard University women's cross country team won the 2024 Bison Invite, hosted by HU.
Overall, six Bison place in the top 10.
Senior
Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.) took home the individual title, clocking in at 17:22.10.
Rookie
Mira Martin (Columbus, Ohio) finished runner-up with a 17:46.20 mark.
Senior
Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C.) and newcomer
Chloe Poindexter (State College, Pa.) placed fourth (17:57.70) and fifth (18:12.40), respectively, while freshman
Kendall Robinson (Bowie, Md.) earned seventh overall (18:46.30).
Second-year Bison
Sarah Seam (Gaithersburg, Md.) rounded out the squad at 10
th place (19:16.40).
Maryland Eastern Shore placed runner-up, followed by Delaware State (DSU).
On Nov. 2, the Bison travel to Smyrna, Del., for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships, hosted by DSU.
