NEW ORLEANS (July 13, 2023) – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) uncovered its 2023 NCAA Division I Men's & Women's Track & Field All-Academic Awards where Howard University saw 10 Bison acknowledged for their achievements inside the classroom. The announcement came Thursday.
Among the honorees included
Dylan Beard (Baltimore),
Ashton Daniel (Athens, Ga.),
Kaya-Rae Dunbar (Burtonsville, Md.),
Kameron Davis (Miami),
Chase Drewery (Waldorf, Md.),
Darci Khan (Stockbridge, Ga.),
Cathrina Morris (Auburndale, Fla.),
Tiffani-Rae Pittman (Bowie, Md.),
Aniya Woodruff (Harrisburn, N.C.) and
Jessica Wright (Durham, N.C.).
To be eligible, the student-athlete must cumulate a 3.25 grade point average (GPA) or better and complete at least two semesters or three quarters. Additionally, the student-athlete must have finished the indoor season ranked in the top 96 individually or top 48 during relay events or participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Additionally, both squads made the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team after cumulating a 3.09 (men) and 3.42 (women) grade point averages, respectively.
To be eligible, the team must cumulate a 3.0 GPA or better, including the most recent grading period.

David Oliver wrapped up his sixth season, leading the women's program to its first triple crown title in school history while guiding the men's squad to runner-up finishes during the cross country, indoor and outdoor seasons.
