NORFOLK, Va. (May 14, 2026) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its men's and women's outdoor track & field all-academic honors where Howard University saw 26 Bison recognized for their academic excellence inside the classroom. The announcement came Thursday morning.
To be eligible, MEAC sophomores, juniors and seniors must hold a cumulative 3.0 grade point average or higher. Transfer student-athletes must have at least one year of residence at their respective institutions to be eligible.

Collectively, the league honored 177 student-athletes from its elite eight member institutions for their outstanding academic achievements during the 2025-26 academic year.
On May 14-16, HU heads to Norfolk, Va., for the MEAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Norfolk State.
