NORFOLK, Va. (May 8, 2023) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) uncovered its men's and women's outdoor track & field all-academic honors where Howard University led the way with a conference-best 29 Bison. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
Overall, the MEAC honored 172 student-athletes from the conference's eight member institutions who have achieved academic success.
"Congratulations to our outdoor track & field All-Academic student-athletes," MEAC Commissioner
Sonja Stills said. "Education is the cornerstone of everything we do, both at the conference level and in intercollegiate athletics as a whole. Academic achievement is just as worthy of praise as anything accomplished in competition, if not more so."

MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.
