TOURNAMENT PREVIEW

The famous Wally Goodwin, who coached at The Farm from 1987 to 2000, was honored with a name change to The Goodwin in 2014. In 1994, under Goodwin's direction, Stanford won the NCAA Championship for the first time since 1953. Goodwin won the National Coach of the Year award two times and the Pac-10 Coach of the Year award twice. He coached the Stanford Cardinal to two conference titles and seven All-Americans, bringing in stars like Tiger Woods, Notah Begay III, Casey Martin and Joel Kribel. Goodwin helped bring Stanford's flagging program back to national prominence.
