WASHINGTON (February 26, 2023) – Howard University senior Gregory Odom Jr. (Memphis, Tenn.) sits tied for fourth after round one of the Loyola Intercollegiate, hosted by the Greyhounds.
 
The Memphis native a solid opening round, shooting 2-under (70).
 
Fellow classmate Everett Whiten Jr. (Chesapeake, Va.) is two strokes behind Odom, recording a 72 (E) while tying for 15^th overall.
 
Collectively, the Bison shot 7-over par (295) and tied for 11^th place with Missouri State.
 
Marquette leads the field after shooting 1-under (287), two strokes better than Loyola (Md.).
 
Individually, SIU Edwardsville's Brady Kaufmann and George Mason's Aryan Vuradi are tied for the lead, shooting 4-under (68). Arizona State's Gabriel Salvanera is one stroke behind (-3, 69).
 
The tournament continues Monday (Feb. 27) at 9:45 a.m. (ET)/7:45 p.m. (MT).
