WASHINGTON (FEB 25, 2023) – Howard University Men's Golf team is opening its spring season at the Loyola Intercollegiate in Goodyear, Ariz. All three days (Feb. 26-28) are shotgun tee times, starting at 9:45 a.m. (ET)/7:45 a.m. (MT).

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
 
The Loyola (Md.) Men's Golf team is hosting the 17-team tournament at the Palm Valley Golf Club (Par 72, 7,015 yards). The 54-hole event features Howard, Loyola (Md.), Arizona State, Bucknell, Delaware, Drake, George Mason, Idaho, Marshall, Missouri State, Northern Colorado, Seton Hall, South Dakota, SIU-Edwardsville, St. John's, Utah Valley and Wright State.
 
SCOUTING THE BISON
 
HU returns from a fall season that featured two top 3 finishes: Howard-USF Collegiate Invitational (second place) and Daytona Beach Intercollegiate (third place).
 
Senior Gregory Odom Jr. (Memphis, Tenn.) had an immense fall season, winning two tournaments and finishing top 5 in another, and that tremendous form is something he will be looking to build on for the spring campaign.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
 
Next, the Bison take a trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., to compete in the SHU Spring Break Invitational, hosted by Sacred Heart University (March 9-10).
