SOMERSET, N.J. (May 3, 2022) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) unveiled its women's golf postseason honors where Howard University freshman standout
Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas) received recognition for her outstanding rookie campaign. The announcement came Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson made the league's All-NEC Second Team after averaging a 78.7 per round throughout the season.
In her first season as a Bison, the Texas native had three top 10 finishes, including first place at the Cardinal Classic (March 26). At the NEC Championships (April 20-22), she finished fifth overall and earned All-Tournament honors.
Jackson, alongside Merrimack's Yiting Pan, were the only true freshmen named to the All-Conference Team.
Fairleigh Dickinson junior Victoria Schroedl won NEC Player of the Year while Sacred Heart (SHU) sophomore Chantal El Chaib claimed the conference's Rookie of the Year. SHU's Matt McGreevy won the league's Coach of the Year.
