BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (April 2, 2026) – The NEC uncovered its golf weekly awards where Howard University junior
Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.) grabbed the league's Women's Golfer of the Week. The announcement came Thursday afternoon.
Fieldings led HU to its third straight National Women's Collegiate Golf Championship (March 30-April 1), earning third place on the player leaderboard. The Virginia native shot 7-over par in 54 holes of action.
This season, Fieldings has six Top 10 finishes, including a victory at the Navy Fall Invite.

Francisco Perez, sophomore
Lena Durette (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and freshman
Mia Melendez (Ann Arbor, Mich.) joined Fieldings on the NEC Prime Performers list.
Jack Tebeau (Binghamton) was named NEC Men's Golfer of the Week.
On April 17-19, Howard heads to nearby Ellicott City, Md., for the 2026 NEC Championships.
