WASHINGTON (March 22, 2022) – Howard University men's and women's track & field teams continue the outdoor season with a pair of meets. A handful of Bison travel to Austin, Texas for the 94
th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (March 23-26), hosted by the Longhorns, while the other half heads to Raleigh, N.C., for the annual Raleigh Relays (March 24-26), hosted by the Wolfpack.

94TH CLYDE LITTLEFIELD TEXAS RELAYS
Over a dozen Bison are set to compete at the Texas Relays.
Hailed as "the greatest athletic event ever held in the Southwest," the Texas Relays annually attracts more than 5,000 athletes and 20,000 fans.
Fans can attend the event free of charge Wednesday (March 23). Tickets for Thursday (March 24) through Saturday (March 26) can be obtained at the Mike A. Myers Stadium Box Office during the event.
RALEIGH RELAYS
All events will take place at the Paul Derr Track and Field facility located on the North Carolina
State campus (2481 Cates Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27695).
No tents will be allowed in the stands and concessions will not be available.
LAST TIMEOUT
On March 19, Howard competed in the Maryland Invitational, hosted by the Terps.
On the men's side,
Dylan Beard (Severn, Md.),
Jermanie Byrd (Miami) and senior
Kameron Davis (Miami) went first (14.44), second (14.53) and third (14.68), respectively, in the 110-meter hurdles.
For the women, senior thrower
Diana Effiom (Dallas) shattered her previous mark (50.45 meters) with a new school record in the hammer, tossing over 170 feet (51.97 meters).
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
HU resumes the outdoor season with another pair of meets next week (March 31-April 2). One group travel to Gainesville, Fla., for the Pepsi Florida Relays, hosted by the Gators, while the other heads to Williamsburg, Va., for the Colonial Relays, hosted by William & Mary.
