2019-20 (Indoor): Competed in eight meets … Opened the season with a 1st place finish in the weight throw at the UMES Cappy Anderson Invite (Dec. 7), posting a mark of 15.27m … Placed 1st with a season-best 16.32m mark in the weight throw at the HBCU Battle (Jan. 10) … Finished the season with a 12th place finish (14.46m) in the weight throw at the MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 27-29).
2019 (Outdoor): Competed in seven meets … Opened the season with a 5th place finish in the hammer throw with a 38.83m mark at the Wendy’s Seahawk Invitational (Mar. 8-9) … Posted a 10.20m mark in the shot put with a 7th place finish at the 2019 Fred Hardy Invitational (Mar. 29-30) … Competed in the MEAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May. 2-4).
2018-19 (Indoor): Competed in seven meets … Opened the season with an 8th place finish in the weight throw (13.61m) at the George Mason Father Diamond Invitational (Jan. 5) … Posted a 14.39m mark in the weight throw with a 14th place finish at the MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 21-23).
Personal: Biology major… Chemistry minor... From Dallas, Texas… Attended Bishop Lynch High School… Graduated high school with a weighted 4.0.. also was part of a state runner-up baseball team… earned 2nd & 3rd place at state championships in track & field… Dream is to go to medical school in order to become an OBGYN… Interests range from life sciences to fashion and beauty… Diana’s Nigerian background is a big part of her life… she’s always dancing and listening to afrobeats.
