WASHINGTON (June 9, 2025) – Howard University track & field program sends 12 Bison to Eugene, Ore., to compete at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships. The four-day event (June 11-14) is set to take place at Hayward Field, hosted by the University of Oregon.

MEET PREVIEW
 
Monday (June 5), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) unveiled its Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships qualifiers where HU saw 12 Bison in six entries: 100-meter dash (women); 100-meter hurdles (women); 400-meter hurdles (men & women); 4x100 relay (women) and 4x400 relay (men).
 
MEN
 
Wednesday (June 11), graduate Noah Langford (Virginia Beach, Va.) kicks off HU with the 400-meter hurdles semifinal round. The Virginia native returns to Eugene after earning USTFCCCA (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) honorable mention a year ago. He looks to become the first men's long hurdler All-American since 1989 (John Branch).
 
Langford, sophomore Emerson McKindra (Linden, N.J.) and freshmen Cameron Brazell (Houston) and Elijah Grant (Fort Mill, S.C.) conclude Day One with the 4x400 relay race. The four Bison are looking to become the first men's relay team to earn All-American status since 1984 (Anton Skerritt, Donald Battle, Richard Louis & Oliver Bridges). Junior Dylan Gaines (Houston) is an alternate.
 
WOMEN
 
Thursday (June 12), graduates Kailei Collins (Houston) and Marcia Sey (London, United Kingdom), senior Tiffani-Rae Pittman (Bowie, Md.) and sophomore Aiyana Gray-Williams (Winston-Salem, N.C.) open Day Two with the 4x100 relay. The four runners look to become the first All-American 4x100 relay squad in program history. Third-year Bison Kiya Lawson (Montclair, N.J.) and sophomore Mackenzie Robinson (Ypsilanti, Mich.) are the alternates.
 
Individually, Sey is set to compete in the 100-meter hurdles semifinal round. She seeking to become the first All-American in the short hurdles since Darci Khan (2023).
 
Collins gears up later that night, looking to become the first All-American in the 100-meter dash in program history.
 
Junior Aniya Woodruff (Harrisburg, N.C.) closes out Day Two with the 400-meter hurdles. The Tar Heel native is seeking to become only the second woman in program history to earn All-American status in the long hurdles (Jessica Wright – 2022 & 2023).
