WASHINGTON (November 10, 2022) – Howard University cross country program closes out its 2022 campaign in State Park, Pa. at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals Championship, hosted by Penn State University. The action begins with the women's 6K race at 10:30 a.m., followed by the men's 10K meet at 11:30 a.m.

MEET PREVIEW
Both sides return to the big stage in more than a decade.
"I am excited for the programs return to the regional stage in cross country," said Howard cross country head coach
Wesley Stephens. "Our regular season schedule gave us a preview of the competition we will face on Friday and both teams are up to the challenge."
MEN
The men make their first appearance since 2013. Despite not have the full team, All-MEAC selections senior
Ayoade Adebiyi (Virginia Beach, Va.) and sophomore
Julian Lawson (Sewell, N.J.) will represent HU at the regional stage.
Adebiyi looks to close out his illustrious cross county career by shattering the school's 10K record, held by Elisha Metto (2013 – 33.03.60).
WOMEN
For the first time since 2003, HU women return to regionals and look to post their best finish in school history (24
th).
The 2022 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champions consists of All-MEAC honorees
Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.),
Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C.),
Breanna McDonald (Bethesda, Md.),
Jordyn Miller (Mundelein, Ill.) and
Melanie White (Orlando, Fla.). Freshman
Victoria Campbell (Sickerville, N.J.) rounds out the Bison.
