ANNAPOLIS, MD (FEBRUARY 9, 2019)-- Howard women's tennis team will travel to Annapolis, Maryland, this Saturday, February 9, at 8 p.m. for a match against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. The two teams will be playing on the campus of the United States Naval Academy.
LAST TIME OUT: The Bison (1-2) earned their first victory of the year against Mount Saint Mary's, 4-3. They won four out of six singles and one of three doubles to pull off the victory. Seniors Nicole Hutchinson,
Kindha Nasef and
Christina Joynes, along with sophomore
Aria Ragas each won their singles matches for Howard. The duo of Hutchinson and Joynes won the doubles match.
SERIES HISTORY: The Bison defeated the Knights last March, 4-2, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. Six of the seven players for Howard who participated in last year's match against Fairleigh Dickinson are on the roster this season.
