WASHINGTON (October 3, 2019) – After grabbing a pair of league victories, the Howard University women's soccer team looks to stay hot when they host Texas Southern (Oct. 4) and Prairie View A&M (Oct. 6) in Birmingham, Ala. at Sicard Hollow Park. Friday's showdown against the Tigers is 8:30 p.m. (ET)/7:30 p.m. (CT) and Sunday's contest is set for noon (ET)/11 a.m. (CT).

Kendall Macauly (Toronto, Canada) recognized for their outstanding efforts against Jackson State and Southern.
Hightower earned SWAC Co-Goalkeeper of the Week while the Toronto native claimed the league's top defender.
TEXAS SOUTHERN
Texas Southern (3-6, 2-0 SWAC) enters the weekend with a pair of wins over Alcorn State, 5-0, and Mississippi Valley State, 2-0. On the season, the Tigers are perfect at home (3-0), but struggled on the road with 0-6 (0-1 neutral) mark.
Desiree Hart, Jada MacLean and Mia Marshall each have a pair of goals this season.
PRAIRIE VIEW A&M
Like HU and Texas Southern, Prairie View A&M (3-6, 2-0 SWAC) also comes in undefeated with a 2-0 mark in SWAC play.
Recently, Diana Neff received SWAC Offensive Player of the Week and teammate Quinn Josiah shared goalkeeper of the week with Hightower.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Howard hits the road for their first road test of league play.
Friday (Oct. 11), the Bison travel to Pine Bluff, Ark. where Arkansas-Pine Bluff awaits. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. (ET)/3 p.m. (CT).
Two days later (Oct. 13), Howard goes to Louisiana to face Grambling State. Match time is scheduled for 2 p.m. (ET)/1 p.m. (CT).
