ORLANDO (March 12, 2018) – After being shorthanded for the past couple weeks, Coach
Larry Strickland and the Howard University Women's Tennis team returned to full strength as they took down Fairleigh Dickinson (FDU), 4-2, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.

Before singles competition, HU (2-5) held an early 2-0 advantage due to the Knights not having enough spots filled.

Freshmen
Nathalie Finch and
Yassmine Khiri served as the squad's No. 1 and No. 2 players, respectively, and defeated their counterparts, FDU's Tatiana Eftenoiu and Patricia Eftenoiu, in straight sets.

Junior
Christina Joynes won her first set, 6-4, but dropped set two, 2-6, and the deciding set, 0-6, to the Knights' Anamaria Vladescu.

Friday, the Bison takes on Chicago State in another neutral site match. First-serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
